Former USC defensive lineman Leonard Williams has yet to work out for an NFL organization, but analysts have already solidified him as a top draft pick.

Williams is projected to be selected No. 2 by the Tennessee Titans by both Fox Sports’ Peter Schrager and ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. in their latest mock drafts.

Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston is the consensus projected No. 1 overall pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Schrager wrote that Williams was his top-rated player.

“Williams played through a torn labrum last season and battled an ankle injury this year, and was still the most dominant player on the field,” he wrote.

Kiper said Williams, 6-feet-5 and 300 pounds, was the best defensive player available.

“He gives you a lot of scheme versatility,” Kiper said.

Williams made 80 tackles, including seven sacks, for a Trojans team that finished 9-4.

He will participate in the NFL combine Feb. 17-23 in Indianapolis.
