Huntington Beach defensive lineman Liam Jimmons enrolls at USC
More than half of the players committed to USC’s 2016 recruiting class have enrolled in spring semester courses.
Defensive lineman Liam Jimmons from Huntington Beach High is the latest player to join the group.
Students have until Jan. 29 to enroll in spring courses.
USC has 13 commitments in the 2016 class, including seven players who are expected to participate in spring practices.
Receivers Trevon Sidney and Tyler Vaughns, tight end Cary Angeline, offensive lineman Frank Martin, defensive lineman Keyshon Camp and linebacker Jordan Iosefa are expected to sign a letter of intent with USC on Feb. 3, national signing day.
Seven scholarships remain available.
USC used five of its allotted 25 scholarships in the 2016 class for blue-shirt recruits, players who were on last season’s roster but were awarded scholarships that count toward this year’s class.
