The Fall in Love With Victoria Sale costs $125 per person for one night and $167 per person for two nights. The price includes taxes and a coupon for 20% off duty-free items.

Visitors may stay in the Coast Victoria Harbourside Hotel & Marina with this package, or select other hotels such as the Harbour Towers Hotel & Suites or the Royal Scot Hotel and Suites for as little as $5 more.

If you're bringing the kids, one child younger than 12 rides for $10 for each paying adult; additional children pay half the adult fare. And remember to bring your passports for the crossing too.

When: You must reserve by Oct. 8 and travel between Oct. 13 and Dec. 17. The offer is based on availability, and some blackout dates apply.

Tested: I checked availability for an 8 a.m. ferry from Seattle to Victoria on Oct. 17, and a return ride leaving at 5 p.m. Oct. 18. For a single night for two, it costs $295.

The lowest price ($125 per person) applies to November and December trips, which means you'll have time to take in the holiday lights in Victoria's Butchart Gardens. Without the sale, prices start at $143 to $156 per person.
