All you need is time — and not a dime — to go behind the scenes at “The Beatles Love,” one of Cirque du Soleil’s Las Vegas shows. The public can watch rehearsals on Friday and Sunday afternoons. The 30-minute open rehearsals are free.
“We are opening our doors to show fans exactly what it takes to bring ‘Love’ to life,” artistic director Melanie Lalande said in a news release.
All are invited to watch as the cast of 70 artists dance through many of John, Paul, George and Ringo’s world-famous songs. The acrobatic and musical extravaganza is staged at the Mirage.
The open rehearsals are 4:15 to 4:45 p.m. Friday and 3 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Depending on production schedules, the open sessions may change. You are urged to call the box office to confirm the schedule. Phone: (702) 792-7735
Guests attending afternoon rehearsals will be given discounts for tickets to see a full show. To celebrate its 10th anniversary — “The Beatles Love” launched in June, 2006 — new music, choreography and technology have been added to the show.
“Love” is staged Thursday through Monday with performances at 7 and 8:30 p.m. Tickets start at $79.
