Reservations for the new Ace Hotel in downtown L.A. will be accepted beginning Monday (today) for the 182-room hipster inn that’s expected to open Jan. 15.
Ace, which has locations in London, Palm Springs and New York, among other places, is at 929 S. Broadway in the 1927 in the United Artists building and theater.
Included in the 182-room count are 16 suites. Guests will also find a rooftop bar and such standard amenities as flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi and room service.
Some amenities you don’t always see: a screening room (said to have been Mary Pickford’s private screening room), guitars in some rooms and custom turntables, also in some rooms.
Rates for standard rooms, which average 220 square feet, will begin at $179.
