Las Vegas: Downtown Brew Festival to turn Sin City into Suds City
Beer lovers will have plenty of craft brews to sample and enjoy in downtown Las Vegas the evening of Sept. 21 at a brew fest.
The Downtown Brew Festival begins at 6 p.m. at the Clark County Amphitheater at 500 S. Grand Central Parkway. More than 170 seasonal beers from about 50 local and regional breweries will be available for tasting.
Several southern Nevada brewers will be highlighting exclusive offerings available for the first time at the festival. Four Las Vegas breweries will showcase eight specialty beers they plan to enter in the 2013 Great American Beer Festival next month in Denver.
Accompanying the brews will be plenty of bites from Las Vegas restaurants and food trucks.
Las Vegas bands American Cream and Rusty Maples will play their blends of indie, folk and pop music.
The festival is in its second year. More than 2,000 people attended the inaugural celebration.
General admission tickets, priced at $35, are available online.
