Big Bear resorts offer guests a gas card

Escape to the forests and blue skies of Big Bear Lake with a $100 gas-card deal from the Big Bear Lake Resort Assn.

The deal: The $100 special requires visitors to book five nights or more at a participating lodge. Visitors who book three or four nights receive a $50 gas card; those staying one or two nights will receive a $25 card.

The hotels: Participating hotels include the Three Pines Lodge (rates range from $59 to $224 per night, depending on season, size of lodging and day), Grey Squirrel Resort ($75 to $475), Shore Acres Lodge ($112.50 to $325), Black Bear Cottages ($109 to $399), Alpine Village Inn & Resort Rentals ($59 to $500), Big Bear Vacations ($99 to $500), Black Bear Management Rentals ($125 to $500), Windy Point Inn ($145 to $265), Boulder Creek ($100 to $225), Bavarian Lodge ($55 to $190), Black Forest Lodge ($65 to $145), Big Bear Cool Cabins ($100 to $500) and Stargazers Inn ($195 to $500).

Details: The free gas offer begins April 20 and continues through Nov. 23. The gas card must be mentioned at the time of booking; it will be given to guests when they check in and will be redeemable at participating Arco gas stations. Limit is one gas card per reservation. Minimum night stays vary per lodge, and other restrictions may apply.
