Christmas trees aren’t always green and pointy.
Take the astonishing Singing Christmas Tree formed from 220 members of the Mona Shores High School Choir in western Michigan.
It’s a sight to behold, all those faces instead of branches peering out from a perfectly tapered tree shape.
Others put their own twists on the classic holiday tree.

OK, not everyone may appreciate this Christmas tree made of 400 empty beer kegs, but it certainly is novel. The lights are on and glowing green on the 26-foot-high tree constructed outside the Genesee Brew House in downtown Rochester, N.Y. This year’s creation tops last year’s tree by 2 feet and 100 kegs.
