Wasco celebrates Festival of Roses, 100th anniversary

As the Kern County city celebrates its 100th, it also celebrates its roses with activities including a queen pageant, parade, arts and crafts fair, rose show, barbecue and fun run.

When, where: Sept. 6 to 8, with most festivities at Barker Park, at Poplar Avenue and Poso Drive in Wasco.
