Bonaire in the Lesser Antilles is known for its off-shore coral reef that’s also a marine sanctuary rich with parrot fish, angelfish, blue tangs, jacks and hundreds of other fish species. That’s why underwater photo pro Stephen Frink selected the Caribbean island as the venue for a digital master class in underwater photography.
Participants stay seven nights at the Divi Flamingo Beach Resort & Casino and spend daytime hours diving and shooting. In the afternoon, Frink and other photographers teach classes in computer techniques (video, Photoshop, etc.) and offer critiques of the morning shoots.
Dates: July 7-14.
Price: $1,874 a person, double occupancy. Includes room, breakfast, airport transfers, five days of morning boat dives (two tank), unlimited shore diving, tanks, weights, weight belt and towels. Airfare is not included.
