Alaska: $669 for 6-day tour of Anchorage and Talkeetna

Spend six days touring Anchorage and Talkeetna in Alaska for $669 per person, including hotel, sightseeing tours and some meals.

The deal: The 6 Day Affordable Alaska package from Gate 1 Travel offers five nights at the Ramada Anchorage Downtown; five breakfasts and two dinners; transfers to and from the airport; sightseeing tours and more.

The six-day, five-night price of $669 per person, plus tax, double occupancy, is for the land tour only and doesn’t include airfare. (You will also see a land-air package on the website for $1,099, but it’s for travel from New York.)

The itinerary includes a city tour of Anchorage; a trip to Talkeetna to see bald eagles and other wildlife; a visit to the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward; and a meeting with an Iditarod dog musher.
