Sale on loyalty points for future stays at Wyndham hotel brands

U.S. Travel Assn.’s Daily Giveaways features a new discount -- or two, or three, or more -- on hotels, car rentals, entertainment and other travel services each day until May 11.

Today’s deal (Monday) offers savings on hotel packages in the form of loyalty points at Ramada, Super 8, Days Inn, Wyndham and Wingate by Wyndham properties.

The deal: Here’s how this offer works: Start by signing up for free at Wyndham Rewards loyalty program. On the Daily Getaways website, click on “today” and you’ll see the price for loyalty points and the redemption value for a future stay. Today’s offers are:

--16,000 points for a single night at a Super 8 hotel for $55 (usually $90)
--28,000 points for two nights at a Days Inn for $76 (usually $124)
--32,000 points for two nights at a Ramada hotel for $110 (usually $180)
--50,000 points for two nights at a Wyndham hotel and resort for $143 (usually $234)
--48,000 points for three nights at a Wingate by Wyndham hotel for $165 (usually $270)

When: These deals go on sale 10 a.m. PDT Monday and last until they sell out.

More tips: Use an American Express card when making your purchase and receive an extra 10% off the deal price. Also, fans of Wyndham Rewards Facebook page get a jump start on the sale by being offered selected packages from 9 to 10 a.m.
