Cars Land opens Friday at Disney California Adventure Park -- and the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa is ready. The hotel offers a four-night family package that comes with two-day Disneyland Park Hopper passes to see the new “Cars” themed area (as well as both parks), bicycling, breakfast and other summer activities.

The deal: The Five Best Days of Summer comes with two-day Disneyland Park Hopper passes for two adults and two children that provides access to Disneyland and California Adventure ($776). The minimum stay for this package is four nights.

The savings on this high-end package really ride on taking advantage of all the activities, but isn’t that what vacation is all about? It comes with daily breakfast for four (about $320 for four days), free valet parking ($116 for four days), access to resort amenities such as Slyders Water Playground (usually $25 daily resort fee), a free cabana for one day ($125 to $175 a day), two half-day bicycle rentals ($52) and a kit to make s’mores around one of the hotel’s outdoor fire pits. Use the promotion code “BEST5” when making a reservation.

When: The offer is good for stays until Sept. 11 but reservations must be made by Sept. 6.

Tested: I found a room available July 22-26 that has a king-sized bed (roll-away beds are available) for $585 a night or $2,340 for the four-night stay excluding tax. The daily rate for the same room on the same nights plus the extras would cost about 20% more.
