Las Vegas: Nobu Hotel opens room reservations for February stays
It’s a first in a town that thrives on flamboyant firsts: Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace in Las Vegas has started taking room reservations for Feb. 4 and beyond.
The hotel bearing the name of star chef Nobu Matsuhisa is the first of five hotels scheduled to be built in the next two years in a $600-million international project.
The hotel, which is in Caesars’ Centurion Tower, says it plans to open by year’s end though bookings aren’t available for dates before February, according to a hotel statement.
Room prices start at $249 plus tax for a Deluxe King room ($299 plus tax on Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day) that overlooks the Strip or a garden area. The adjacent restaurant, touted as the world’s largest Nobu at 12,775 square feet, is scheduled to open in January.
The boutique hotel has 81 rooms, teensy by Vegas standards, which includes 18 luxury suites of one to five bedrooms. Room perks (no resort fees) include free access to the existing fitness center and Qua Baths & Spa, VIP privileges at Nobu restaurant and Pure nightclub, in-room iPad registration, 24-hour room service from Nobu restaurant, hot-tea welcome and free parking.
And the look? The Rockwell Group’s interior design is said to be driven by “comfortable simplicity” using natural materials and textures.
