Ojai: Grab an autumn deal at Ojai Valley Inn
- Share via
Fall into fall in the Ventura County town of Ojai, where blue skies and leafy trails invite visitors to grab a little R&R.; The Ojai Valley Inn, established in the 1920s as a country club and spa, underwent a $90-million renovation a few years ago that vaulted it into Five Diamond status with AAA. The resort is known for its giant oaks and rolling, green lawns. There’s a spa, golf course, restaurants and other resort amenities.
The Deal: Book a two-night stay from Oct. 1 through Dec. 30 at the best available rate and receive the third consecutive night free. The deal includes a fall welcome treat from chef Chad Minton, plus use of the driving range, fitness center and free fitness courses. There are no Internet, resort or parking fees.
Tested: I checked availability for Oct. 9 and was quoted a rate of $329 per night for two nights for a king or double queen. The third night, Oct. 11 was free, for a 33% savings. Another option that I noticed on the website was an Internet advance booking discount of 15%. So, if I wanted to stay only one night instead of three, I could have booked Oct. 9 for $279.
The rates don’t include tax and must be booked in advance. They cannot be combined with other discount packages.
