California: Breakfast, parking, hotel near Disneyland for $119
Anyone taking the kids to Disneyland this spring should consider this Travelzoo hotel offer within walking distance of the Anaheim theme park. A room for four costs $119 for a night or $219 for two nights — and that includes free parking and breakfast.
The deal: The Travelzoo deal really suits families with kids who don’t want to spend a fortune on a hotel room but do want to stay close to the park. It’s good at the Anabella Hotel (1030 W. Katella Ave.), which is within walking distance of Disneyland. Daily breakfast for two adults and two kids (usually $24 per day), and free parking (usually $14 per day) come with the cost of the room.
When: The offer is good through 10 p.m. PST Wednesday. Hotel stays, including weekends, are good through June, with some blackout dates. Reservations are subject to availability.
Tested: I found availability for this deal on Travelzoo’s website. Here’s how it works: You first buy a voucher, then call the hotel and make reservations. The best available rate for a room for four usually runs about $123 a night plus tax, so the Travelzoo voucher with the extras is a good find.
If your dates are inflexible, you might call the hotel in advance to make sure there’s a room available that honors the deal. Also, the price doesn’t include a $2 daily resort fee.
