The Crescent Hotel Beverly Hills at Crescent Drive and Brighton Way prides itself on being a 35-room boutique hotel with a “bigger-is-not-always-better” sensibility. The recently renovated hotel built in 1927 has two additional rooms that are downright teensy, but they come with a tiny price tag: $99 a night.

The deal: This is a great insider tip for Beverly Hills visitors who are traveling solo and for those who would rather spend time sightseeing than in their room. The Crescent‘s Itty-Bitty rooms feature a full-size bed, flat-screen TV, iPod and docking station and bathroom in just 135 square feet. “All you need to bring is yourself and your favorite little black dress because that’s all you’ll have room for,” a hotel statement says.

You won’t find information about the rooms online; guests must contact the hotel directly to reserve. (Ask for the Itty-Bitty rooms.) But just because the room is small doesn’t mean you can’t hang out at the hotel’s terrace and lobby and take advantage of other amenities and services such free pressing/steaming of clothes and luggage storage.

When: Rooms reservations are based on availability.

Details: Top prices at the Crescent run about $250 a night for the hotel that’s close to Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills shopping. The small rooms offer a nice price in a nice location.
