Daily Deal: $99 gets you a bed, a TV and a spa pass at The Out NYC

Ideal for the social solo traveler, The Out NYC has re-launched its Shared Luxury Accommodations deal this summer, with a spa pass (a $50 value) to boot.
The deal: Standard rooms at The Out NYC, billed as New York City’s first “straight-friendly” urban resort, start at $250. Shared Luxury Accommodations -- European hostel-style bunk rooms equipped with four full-sized beds and a shared bathroom -- start at $99 a night. Each bed is a single-person unit that includes a 22-inch TV, privacy curtains and a cubby for storage. (These quad rooms were previously available as a single unit for groups of up to four travelers.)
With each reservation, Shared Luxury Accommodation guests will also receive a daily pass that gives them access to the hotel’s full-service spa, fully equipped gym, two hot tubs, three cabanas and three outdoor courtyards.
The details: The price of the bed varies according to availability. When I checked the price for the night of June 28, during New York’s gay pride events, the price was $149 a night. But checking dates in July, I found the $99-per-bed-price.
Info: The Out NYC, 510 W. 42nd St.; (212) 947-2999
