Las Vegas: Earn extra rewards with Southwest and MGM resorts
- Share via
Southern Californians who fly Southwest Airlines to Las Vegas and stay at one of the MGM Resorts properties along the Strip can earn points in the airline’s’ Rapid Rewards program and in MGM Resorts’ M life loyalty club.
Those who drive to Sin City can still earn 600 Rapid Rewards points for their hotel stays. To celebrate the new partnership, people who book rooms this month will earn 1,200 points -- double the usual amount -- per stay.
Guests will also earn credits in M life and may be eligible for offers such as room upgrades and pre-sale tickets for concerts and boxing matches.
The participating resorts are Aria, Bellagio, Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, The Mirage, Monte Carlo, New York-New York, The Signature at MGM Grand, THEhotel at Mandalay Bay and Vdara.
Participants must be 21 or older and enrolled in both loyalty programs. They must present their membership cards at check-in or check-out to ensure proper credit.
Southwest is the largest carrier at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.
