Las Vegas: Faith Hill, Tim McGraw returning

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are returning to Las Vegas to reprise last winter’s successful run at the Venetian. The country superstars’ performances begin in late October and continue on select weekends into next spring.
The pair’s “Soul2Soul” tours began more than a decade ago and continue to sell out at various venues despite chart-topping ticket prices. With their on-stage chemistry, it’s probably not surprising that, in 2006, McGraw and Hill set a record for the top-grossing North American tour in country music history.
The duo return to the Venetian’s 1,815-seat theater beginning Oct. 25 for a series of Friday and Saturday night gigs over 10 weekends, wrapping up April 12, 2014. They’ll perform each evening at 7 and 9:30 p.m.
“We made the most out of our short time in Vegas [earlier this year] and had a lot of fun onstage and offstage, but it seemed like it was over just as we were getting good and warmed up,” McGraw said in a news release. “The reaction was impossible to ignore, so it was a total no-brainer to add more shows when the Venetian asked us.”
“Tim and I love performing together, but it’s been such a scheduling challenge the last few years because we have two careers and three teenage daughters’ school and social calendars to coordinate around,” Hill added.
Tickets, available through Ticketmaster, start at $117. They skyrocket to $1,026 for seats in the first couple of rows.
