Reporting from Las Vegas — Wall-to-wall crowds packed Drai’s Beachclub & Nightclub on top of the Cromwell when musicians Miguel and Rita Ora took over the stage on back-to-back nights over the weekend, both making their Drai’s Live debut.
On Friday, fans got up close and personal with Miguel, who is on his WildHeart Tour across North America. Miguel rocked the 65,000-square-foot venue for an hour with songs such as “Quickie,” “Drugs” and the lead single from his newly released album, “Coffee.”
He paused between tracks to tell the audience he appreciated their support, then launched into his song “Adorn.”
Two break dancers started showing off their skills just as Ora’s band and backup singers took the stage on Saturday night. The British-born singer performed an hour of entertainment that included a light show, pole dancers, a contortionist and more. Ora sang familiar tracks such as “I Will Never Let You Down” and “Black Widow” while also belting out a solo version of her latest single “Body On Me,” originally a duet with Chris Brown.
Actor Casper Smart and singer Prince Royce hung out at the show at a VIP table next to the stage.
