Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder and the Who’s Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey will play a private concert in Los Angeles on Sept. 12 for the winner of a raffle to raise money for two charitable groups.

It’s something of an encore to the charity campaign for Teen Cancer America earlier this year in which Vedder and Townshend donated personalized items, including an electric guitar signed by Vedder and a one-of-a-kind solo recording by Townshend.

The new contest, hosted by CrowdRise, is selling chances starting at $10 to win two tickets to the private concert and two nights’ accommodations in Santa Monica around the performance.

Proceeds will benefit Teen Cancer America, which helps hospitals and healthcare professionals bridge the gap between pediatric and adult oncology care; and the Foundation to be Named Later, an organization whose stated mission is “improving lives through education, leadership and the healthy development of youth and families.”

Each $10 donation includes one ticket for the raffle, $25 gets three chances and $50 brings seven chances. Details and donation information can be found at www.crowdrise.com/TheWhoAndEddie.
