Bones Former NHL player Jeremy Roenick guest stars as a hockey coach whose player is found murdered — and beheaded — allowing Booth (David Boreanaz) to draw upon his hockey knowledge for the investigation. Lou Ferrigno Jr. also guest stars. 8 p.m. Fox

Aquarius Late-1960s police detective Sam Hodiak (David Duchovny) follows up on photos of missing young women, and Charles Manson (Gethin Anthony) also remains a concern, in the commercial-free, two-hour season premiere of this period police drama. 9 p.m. NBC
