The Robertson family of “Duck Dynasty” fame is kicking off the new year with a surprise for its legions of fans: a new line of guns.

According to CNN, the Robertson family and their company, Duck Commander, are teaming with Connecticut-based gun maker Mossberg for a new line of camouflage shotguns, two semiautomatic rifles and a semiautomatic pistol imprinted with the Duck Commander logo.

In a promotional video on Mossberg’s website, which crashed on Thursday, Phil Robertson says, “Do you know what makes me happy, ladies and gentlemen? To blow a mallard drake’s head smooth off.”

The shotguns have already started to ship to distributors around the country, a Mossberg spokeswoman told CNN.

The new product line come on the heels of a controversy involving the Robertson family and their A&E reality series “Duck Dynasty,” in which family patriarch Phil Robertson was briefly suspended from filming over comments he made criticizing gay marriage and praising the pre-civil rights South in an issue of GQ magazine. Public outcry resulted in the elder Robertson being reinstated on the show without missing any filming.

Willie Robertson, the son of Phil Robertson, and his wife, Korie, made an appearance on Fox News’ New Year’s Eve special, but only said everything was now A-OK with A&E and the family was ready to move on. He made no mention of the new line of Duck Commander guns.
