Celebrate Ben & Jerry’s anniversary Tuesday with Free Cone Day

Calling all Ben & Jerry’s ice cream fans. Grab a free cone filled with “Chunky Monkey,” “Half Baked,” “Cherry Garcia” or any of your favorite flavors during Free Cone Day on Tuesday.

The Vermont-based ice cream company has been giving away free ice cream on its anniversary every year since the first shop opened in 1979. Thirty-five years later, 742 shops in 26 countries are stocked and ready to hand out thousands of free cones.

On Tuesday, the freebies will be given out at participating Los Angeles locations from noon to 8 p.m. Here are six local outlets where you can get a free cone.
