Kim Richards of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” fame was arrested for allegedly trespassing and resisting arrest after police say she refused to leave a hotel bathroom and later tried to kick an officer in the groin.

The ruckus began about 1:30 a.m. Thursday when security at the Beverly Hills Hotel reported that Richards, 50, was bothering patrons at the hotel restaurant, said Beverly Hills police Lt. Lincoln Hoshino. The incident was initially reported as a fight but it appeared Richards was alone, he said.

Richards showed “objective symptoms of alcohol intoxication” and was escorted from the restaurant by security, officials said. But before she left, Richards allegedly asked to use the restroom.

She then refused to come out, according to police.

“They had to physically pull her out of the restroom,” Hoshino said. Richards had “slurred speech and belligerent, insolent behavior cursing at the officers and passively resisted arrest,” police said.

Once she was taken to booking, she allegedly tried kick a male officer in the groin but only hit his leg.

Richards was taken to County Jail, records show. She was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer and battery on a police officer and was released on $20,000 bail about 10:45 a.m. She is scheduled to appear in court June 10.

Richards’ battle with alcohol abuse has been documented on the show. In 2012, she said she was trying to deal with her alcoholism and since then has had at least one stint in rehab. In one January episode, cast members questioned if Richards was maintaining sobriety, according to entertainment media reports.
