Two people killed in crash involving big rig and car in Palmdale
Two people were killed in an accident involving a big rig and a sedan that prompted officials to declare a SigAlert in Palmdale, the California Highway Patrol said Monday night.
The incident was reported around 6:45 p.m. near Pearlblossom Highway and 60th Street West. The highway was closed while officers investigated the accident.
News footage showed the crushed vehicle on the grille of the big rig cab. The names of the victims has not been released.
