When: 6 p.m.

Where: CenturyLink Field, Seattle

On the air: TV: ESPN, ESPN Deportes Radio: 1150,1330.

Regular-season records: Galaxy 16-12-6, Sounders 15-8-11.

Regular-season record vs. Seattle: 1-2 .

Update: Playing in their first conference final, the Sounders find themselves trailing by three scores in a two-game series that will be decided on aggregate goals. But it’s not a comfortable lead for the hobbled Galaxy, which could be without captain Landon Donovan (hamstring), forward Edson Buddle (foot) and midfielder Juninho (Achilles’). And if any of those three do play, they probably will face rain, stiff winds, a windchill in the low 40s and a hostile crowd that could top 50,000. Plus the Galaxy is winless in Seattle, having lost both its regular-season games on CenturyLink Field’s quick artificial turf this season while being outscored 6-0. But the Sounders have hit the skids at the worst time, scoring once in their last four games and getting shut out four times in their last six outings — twice by Galaxy keeper Josh Saunders.
