Lindsey Vonn continues to battle depression that she says can be triggered by intensive ski training.
The 2010 Olympic downhill champion told Focus, a German magazine, that she has been dealing with the issue since she was 19.
“I have good days and I have bad days,” she was quoted as saying.
Injuries have kept Vonn off the slopes for much of the past year. She plans to return to the World Cup circuit in December.
Vonn, who turned 30 over the weekend, also talked about her relationship with Tiger Woods.
“I’m very happy with it,” she said, adding: “Tiger is my inspiration.”
