Leonard Injured in Car Crash

Former world welterweight boxing champion Sugar Ray Leonard suffered minor injuries when he crashed his new jeep into a car that allegedly cut him off at an intersection outside the Washington, D.C., Wednesday night.
The driver who cut Leonard off at the intersection was charged with failing to yield of way and operating an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, police said.
Leonard, who lives in Potomac, Md., with his wife Juanita and two sons, was taken to Prince George’s General Hospital and admitted overnight for observation with chest bruises and cuts on his face and hands.
