The Chicago Cubs suspended season-ticket sales after reaching the 18,000 mark and announced there are no tickets left for the public should the club make the playoffs this year.

The suspension was ordered because the Cubs, last year’s National League Eastern Division champions, exhausted commitments for tickets should the club reach the playoffs. Wrigley Field, the smallest park in the National League, seats 37,000.
