Purdue quarterback Jim Everett, who has enough academic credits to graduate this spring, may return to the Boilmakers next fall for one last year of football eligibility. Everett is a senior but has a year’s eligibility remaining because he red-shirted one season.

Everett passed for a single-season school record of 3,256 yards in a season that ended Monday with Purdue’s 27-24 loss to Virginia in the Peach Bowl.
