Greg Meredith’s goal late in the second period lifted the Canadian Olympic team to a 4-3 victory over Moscow Dynamo, giving Canada its second straight triumph in the 10-game exhibition hockey tour.

Canada also benefitted from outstanding goaltending by Bruce Dowie, a member of the National Hockey League’s Toronto Maple Leafs organization, who made 38 saves.

Dowie made two game-saving stops in the final minute--one on Helmut Balderis with 27 seconds left and the other against Yuri Vozekov with 16 seconds to go.

The series resumes Sunday at Calgary, continues Monday at Thunder Bay, Ontario and concludes Wednesday at Montreal.
