Torrance
Police officials said Wednesday they still do not have any suspects or a motive in the Sunday evening drive-by shooting at windows of four restaurants.
Detective Jeff Lancaster said witnesses at the locations reported seeing the shots fired by a lone male in his early 20s driving a gray sedan.
The restaurants were in their peak business hours--between 6 and 7 p.m.--when the shootings occurred, but no injuries were reported.
The restaurants fired upon were Dee’s Coffee Shop, Denny’s restaurant and Baskin-Robbins ice cream, all on Sepulveda Boulevard near Hawthorne Boulevard, and Bob’s Big Boy restaurant on Hawthorne Boulevard near 182nd Street.
Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Torrance police.
