Junior College Basketball : Glendale 81, Rio Hondo 78
Glendale College improved its Inland Valley Conference record to 11-2 with an overtime win over Rio Hondo at home.
Matt MacFarlane, a 6-6 freshman forward, had four rebounds and a game-clinching steal during the extra period for Glendale.
Toros Yetenekian scored 20 points and had eight rebounds, John Hoffman had 16 points, Ted Grisson had 16 and Randy Alexander had 13 for the Vaqueros.
Barry Cumberland and Joe Berry each scored 24 points for Rio Hondo, which fell to 9-4 in the conference and 14-11 overall. Glendale is 14-10 this season.
