UCI Swimmers Down Pomona-Pitzer, 84-51
UC Irvine men’s swim team defeated Pomona-Pitzer, 84-51, in a nonconference dual meet at Irvine Friday.
Kurt Fuchs was a double winner for the Anteaters, winning the 100-meter butterfly in 55.32 and the 200-meter individual medley in 2:08.12. Irvine’s Peter Kang added victories in the 100-meter and 200-meter backstrokes in 1:02.11 and 2:13.5, respectively.
UCI (5-5) visits UC Santa Barbara next Saturday at 1 p.m.
