Waves Defeat Panthers

Pepperdine defeated Chapman College, 8-1, in a nonconference tennis match in Malibu on Monday.

Paul Wekesa, the Panthers’ No. 6 singles player, was Chapman’s only winner. He beat David Smith, 2-6, 6-4, 7-5.

Chapman plays host to UC Riverside at 2 p.m. today.
