A dissatisfied customer was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder in the shooting death of the owner of an automobile repair shop in central Los Angeles, police said. Investigators said Adolphus Carter, 52, was arguing with Johnnie Price, 54, over repairs made on Carter’s car at the shop on South Vermont Avenue when Carter pulled a pistol and shot Price at close range.
