A ram that attacked an Altadena woman, who later died from her injuries, was shot and killed by a Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy when the animal allegedly attacked him, a sheriff’s spokesman said. Nancy Bond, 53, was rammed by the 200-pound sheep while walking in the 600 block of East Deodara Drive, deputies said, and she died at a Pasadena hospital. Deputy Salvador Munoz was sent to the ram owner’s home to investigate the attack. When he climbed a backyard fence, the ram allegedly charged him and Munoz fired two shots at the animal, killing it.
