S.F. Giants Taken Off the Market

SAN FRANCISCO —
The San Francisco Giants were taken off the market today by owner Bob Lurie, who denounced city plans to dome chilly Candlestick Park and said he will consider options to move the team at the end of the season.
“I believe the Giants still can be a viable franchise in the Bay Area, but not at Candlestick Park,” Lurie told a news conference. He said he supports the idea of building a new stadium south of the city in the Silicon Valley area.
