A pharmaceuticals delivery driver was in stable condition late Tuesday after he was shot and wounded by three men who drove off in his delivery truck as he was making a stop at a Chula Vista drug store. Chula Vista police said Rexton Berry, whose age and address were not immediately available, was making a delivery at 1:32 p.m. at the Sav-On drugstore at 541 I St. when the men jumped into his 1984 white Ford truck. As Berry ran from the truck, one of the men fired a handgun, grazing Berry’s head. The robbers then drove away. Berry was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center. Police Tuesday night were searching for his truck, which was carrying an undetermined quantity of drugs.
