8-Year-Old Girl Kidnaped, Found

An 8-year-old girl was found wandering in a Glendale construction project early this morning after a man kidnaped her from her bed in her Eagle Rock home, molested her and then released her from his car, Los Angeles police reported.

The girl, who was undergoing treatment for shock at Glendale Adventist Medical Center, described her abductor as a 30-year-old Caucasian of medium build. A passer-by found the girl at about 3 a.m. and telephoned police. Officers said the girl’s parents were not aware she had been missing until detectives awoke them to report she had been found.
