The Region : Bradley Maintains Big Lead, Poll Says
Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley still holds a commanding lead over City Councilman John Ferraro in next Tuesday’s mayoral race, according to a KCBS television poll. Bradley is favored 69% to Ferraro’s 21%, according to poll results. Bradley’s support cuts across political parties, age, income, sex and racial lines, the poll indicated, while Ferraro’s appeal was limited mostly to Republicans. About a quarter of those questioned in the poll expressed interest in the mayor’s election.
