Clothing Drive Planned:Many young children brought to the Albert Sitton Home--victims of abuse or neglect--have only the clothes on their backs when they arrive at the county facility in the City of Orange, but a remedy may soon be available. Parent and Child Enrichment, a private agency, is planning a clothing drive for the Albert Sitton Home’s babies and toddlers Thursday, Friday and next Saturday. The group will collect clothes up to size 4 at the Infant Center, which it operates at 2555 Santiago Blvd. in Santa Ana. The public is urged to bring small clothes in good condition to the center between 9 a.m. and noon. Contributions are tax deductible, and only clothing will be accepted. Parent and Child Enrichment has operated the Infant Center since 1981. The group also hosts community educational discussions on problems of parenting. For information, call 532-2102.
