Lee Decisions Harris in Marriott Main Event
Bert Lee of Anaheim scored a 10-round decision over Tim Harris of Sacramento in the main event of a seven-bout boxing card Monday night at the Irvine Marriott Hotel, in front of a capacity crowd of 1,500.
Lee, the World Athletic Assn. junior middleweight champion, recorded his fourth straight win, out-pointing Harris, a former California welterweight champion.
Nick DeLong of Long Beach fought to a draw with Mark Mahone of Orange in a six-round, heavyweight bout.
In other fights: Mark Escobar won a decision over Joaquin Garcia in their four-round bout at 130 pounds and Gary Puente and Nacho Guerrero fought to a draw in a four-rounder at 133 pounds.
