Los Angeles County’s subsidy of the Hollywood Bowl park-and-ride program will be reduced by 50 cents a round trip, the Board of Supervisors voted. This summer, officials said, Hollywood Bowl patrons will be charged $1.75--rather than $1.50--each way for a bus ride between scattered park-and-ride locations and the bowl. The supervisors objected to figures showing that the county and the Southern California Rapid Transit District were subsidizing the program by $6.50 per round trip.
