The fire that destroyed rock promoter Bill Graham’s office, including a large collection of memorabilia, was set by an arsonist, San Francisco fire investigators said. “The evidence at hand indicates that an incendiary accelerant may have been used,” said Capt. Richard Crispen, chief arson investigator for the city’s Fire Department. Firefighters found two corked, gallon-size containers and a two quart bottle filled “with what appeared to be gasoline” outside the one-story warehouse building. Officials estimated that half of the $1-million loss was to the contents of Graham’s office.
