UCSD Golfers Are Fourth in NCAA
The UC San Diego golf team, paced by three players with two-day totals of 151, was in fourth place Wednesday after the second round of play in the NCAA Division III championships at Rochester, N.Y.
The Tritons’ team score was 607, 11 strokes behind first-place Central (Okla.). The tourney continues today and concludes tomorrow.
Pat Weishan, Kevin Lea and Buzz Fulton all stand at 151 for UCSD, 7 strokes over par and 11 strokes behind the leader, Central’s Brian Goldsworthy.
