Howe Wins the Prize for Arrogance
Steve Howe shouldn’t be awarded a multi-million dollar baseball contract, he should be awarded an Oscar for arrogance. At a time when professional sports contracts have reached an epidemic of inflation, how can a rehabilitating cocaine addict, with a 9.00 ERA, and sore arm from surgery possibly ask for more money?
My suggestion for Steve Howe is to take his lunch pail and try working in the real world, where there are no guarantees.
