40 Ounces of PCP Discovered at House
Garden Grove police have arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly possessing 40 ounces of the drug PCP (phencyclidine), which would have a street value of $200,000, a police spokesman said Saturday.
The spokesman said Michael J. Coakley of 6382 Belgrave Ave. was arrested at 4:20 p.m. Friday by officers who received an anonymous tip.
Officers found liquid PCP in containers in the house and in Coakley’s truck, the spokesman said.
Coakley was booked into the Orange County Jail on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale. Bail was set at $25,000.
